Kicks like a girl asked:

When i play fetch with my dog, he goes to get the ball- but instead of coming back to me and dropping the ball- he runs in the other direction. He doesn’t come when i try to coax him over, and if i quit the game to try to get the point across he doesn’t understand. I want him to get better with retrieval and return, and i want him to know “drop it” eventually as well.

*Then when we play frisbee, he waits for it to hit the ground, then retrieves it and runs off. (the same as he does with fetch.)

My dog is very smart and trains very easily. I dont know how to teach him to play properly, but if i did I know that he could learn quickly. Like they say- if your dog is (repeatedly) doing something wrong, it is probably your fault.

If you can tell me what techniques you use (or used) -or even give me some professional advise, i would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Kathryn

visit my website at: emilyspetportraits.com visit my dog training youtube channel- channel kikopup! This is an acrylic painting on an 18 by 24 inch canvas. Euros is a white Golden Retriever who is 12 years old and lives in England with his two loving parents. This video is made quite badly. I used my mothers camera instead of my own and it did not crop the image as it was shown in the viewfinder. Also the colors are very bad as well as my filming. In my next video (I plan to now film all of my works in progress from now on) I will make sure that the images will be able to match up perfectly so you will be able to see the changes. I am a graduate from the Slade School of Fine Art in London and have until recently been highly focused on dog training, but now am coming back with full on force again with my desire to paint. So if you were thinking of getting your pet painted now would be the time!

Nyla
