I cant decide which dog to get a Malkie or a Shiba Inu. any advice?
Filed Under Dog Training | 6 Comments
I live in a medium sized two story row house with a small fenced in backyard. I want a dog that will curl up and veg with me but I also want to play fetch and go to the dog park and romp around. I love both breeds but can not decide which one to get! I can’t wait to do dog training and play with my new puppy, any advice?

My boyfriend has a pitt bull (that I cannot stand I hate pitt bulls) and he got this dog at about a year old already. My boyfriend lives in a apartment that has no backyard for this dog to stay in. So of course this dog stays in the house. The dog has torn up the couches he always lays on the couches and now the couches smell like dog. and he uses the bathroom EVERYWHERE. My boyfriend has had to replace the carpet 3 times. I keep telling him theres no point if this dog is just going to continue to use the bathroom in the house. One time, it was terrible the dog had a severe case of diarrhea and he sh*t all over the walls all over his cage and all over the couches. My boyfriend recently bought him a large kennel that he HATES to stay in, but this stupid animal uses the bathroom in the kennel as well. And dont get me wrong this dog is spanked or scolded every time he does this. My boyfriend and I just dont know what to do no more. I say take him to the pound and he says no. So is there anything i could maybe try to get him to stop using our house as a bathroom? This dog just seems imposable to potty train.
